Johannes “Hazes” Straver has won his second event at the GGMillion$ Week on GGPoker. Straver emerged victorious in Event #54, the Super Monday Prime Time $5,250, earning a first-place prize of $86,625. At the same time, fellow Dutch player Pawel Lukasiak has secured a spot at the final table of the WSOP Online $300 Gladiator, with the final decision set to take place on Tuesday.
Last week, Johannes “Hazes” Straver had a great start at the GGMillion$ Week by winning Event #16 for $51,777. After that, he remained relatively quiet until Monday evening. He made a deep run in the $10,300 Main Event, ultimately finishing in 22nd place for $44,594.
However, his success came in Event #54, the Super Monday Prime Time $5,250. A total of 73 players participated in the event, and Straver managed to reach the final table alongside Jans Arends. Arends had to settle for fourth place and a prize of $42,979.
Straver then went on to win the tournament, earning him the first-place prize of $86,625. This brought his total winnings for Monday evening to over $130,000.
In addition to Straver’s victory, Pawel Lukasiak is also making waves in the poker world. Lukasiak is among the nine finalists in the $300 Gladiators of Poker Opener at the WSOP Online. The event received a total of 9,488 entries. Lukasiak is already guaranteed a prize of $20,831, but he still has a chance to win the top prize of $234,707. The GGMillion$ Week will come to an end on Tuesday with the final table, but a new tournament series is already underway. The WSOP Online is scheduled to take place over the next month and a half at GGPoker.
